Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective June 3, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for ShippingOS. It covers three separate things: your subscription, the postage you buy, and our per-label fee. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Subscriptions (paid tiers)
- The core software is free. Paid tiers are optional and billed in advance on a recurring basis.
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable for partial periods, except where required by law. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Postage & shipping labels
- Postage is purchased from carriers at the moment a label is generated. Whether an unused label can be refunded — and how long it takes — is set by the carrier’s rules, not by us.
- Unused labels: if a label is never used to ship a package, it is typically eligible for a carrier refund within the carrier’s window (commonly around 30 days). We submit the request to the carrier; the carrier credits the postage back, usually to your postage balance or original payment method.
- Used or scanned labels are not refundable.
- Carrier adjustments: carriers may bill or credit adjustments after the fact (for example, for corrected weight or dimensions). These pass through to you per our Terms.
Per-label fee
Our small per-label fee is earned when a label is purchased. When a carrier refunds an unused label, any associated per-label fee is refunded with it. Fees on used labels are non-refundable.
How to request a refund
Request label refunds from the shipment’s detail view where available, or email support@shipos.ai with your account email and the order or label number. Carrier-processed refunds are subject to the carrier’s timeline.

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
